Welcome to Carolina Boating School. Our goal is to help you become more confident and safe on the water by providing hands-on private boating lessons. Whether you are brand new to boating and just purchased your very first boat, or you have years of experience but want to refresh some of your skills, Carolina Boating School has you covered. We offer stress free instruction catered specifically to meet your needs covering topics like docking/undocking, boat ramp operations, navigating the local waterways, vessel safety, and much more.
Private Boating Lessons
Become more confident and practice basic boating skills on your boat! Three hours of hands-on instruction by a USCG licensed Captain. These lessons are catered to meet your individual needs. Whether you want to become more proficient at docking/undocking, navigating local waterways, vessel safety, what to do in an emergency, or basic boating tips, we have you covered!
Captaining Services
Want to enjoy a day on the water without having to worry about driving the boat? We also offer captaining services where a licensed USCG Captain will spend the day with you on your boat. We meet you at your boat and pilot the vessel while you enjoy a relaxing day on the water. Whether it's a sunset cruise, trip to a local sandbar or restaurant, or simply moving your boat from point A to B, we can accommodate.
Trailering/ Boat Ramp Lessons
Hands-on instruction using your truck and trailer. We will meet at a local boat ramp to practice hooking up your trailer, backing, and launching and loading your vessel from the trailer. We will teach you how to safely launch and load your vessel to/from your trailer.
DIY Maintenance Lessons
Want to learn how to properly take care of your boat? Contact us with your boating needs and challenges. We come to your boat and help you learn how to properly maintain your vessel ensuring it functions properly. Extend the life of your boat by learning quick and simple DIY maintenance practices.
